The 2017 Academy Awards Best Dressed List

For the first time in a long time, the 2017 award season has seen exceptional fashion hits without too many misses. So after an amazing Golden Globes, Grammy's and SAG Awards red carpet, fashion standards were high for the Academy Awards, and to great relief, the stars did not disappoint. Here are my Top 10 Oscar Looks.

 Steve Granitz

Steve Granitz

Emma Stone || GIVENCHY
With LA LA Land nominated for 14 categories, if Stone, Gosling and the rest of the cast and crew can scoop up over 11 statues, they'll be making their own history tonight.

Taraji P Henson || ALBERTA FERRETTI
One of Hollywood's busiest working actors, Taraji, tried on this number just two days ago, it zipped up, and that was that. Her new inspiring movie, Hidden Figures, is nominated tonight for Best Picture and along with co-stars, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer

Hailee Steinfeld || RALPH & RUSSO
At only 20-years-old, Hailee Steinfeld is one of Hollywood's youngest triple threats. Nominated tonight for her lead role in, The Edge of Seventeen, Stenfeld's delicate, intricate and feminine red carpet look will definitely go down in Oscar history.

Catt Sadler || Michael Costelo
She may not have been nominated for an Academy Award, but E! News host, Catt Sadler, knew how to turn heads on this years red carpet. Working together with the genius Michael Costelo, himself, Catt's final fitting was just 20 hours before the show. You can see the process and how she chose her final margenta mermaid look here

 David Fischer

Chrissy Teigen || ZUHAIR MURAD
Even though Teigen is here supporting husband, John Legend and his LA LA Land performance, she's no stranger to the red carpet and no stranger to the best dressed list. Combined with her contagiously happy personality, this classy yet playful number still holds sex appeal with its thigh split - one of Chrissy's signature looks. All we can say is stylist, Monica Rose, has done it again.

Octavia Spencer || MARCHESA
With Fashion Month coming to an end, one of the trends on the runway has been feathers. Looking like a princess tonight, Spencer is nominated for her role in Hidden Figures, for Best Supporting Actress.

Janelle Monae || ELIE SAAB
Make room for Janelle Monae, and her sheer, sexy, statement number. Here as a presenter and for her role in, Hidden Figures, no-one mess with Monae.

 Kevin Mazur

Jessica Biel || KAUFMAN FRANCO
Mrs Timberlake sure knows how to shine like an Oscar herself. Taking some risks with the sequins, gold and feature Tiffany and Co. neckpiece, her extravagant bold look paid off.

Brie Larson || OSCAR DE LA RENTA
After winning her first Oscar Award for Best Actress in her performance in, Room, Brie Larson is back this year as to present the award of, Best Actor. In her stunning Oscar de la Renta gown, her look reminds me of Ursula, from The Little Mermaid - but of course, in no ways evil!

Leslie Mann || ZAC POSEN
We're only weeks away from the release of the highly acclaimed, Beauty and the Beast, Leslie Mann seems to have channeled her own Belle at the years red carpet. The power-couple who'll celebrate their 20-year wedding anniversary in June, appeared nothing less than a Disney princess couple themselves.

And with that, that wraps up my top ten Academy Awards Red Carpet looks. Good luck to all the nominees, I'll see you next year.
