Ok still trying to breathe and digest after tonights 2015 VMA Awards. What an eventful show! There definitely was no dull moment.
There were so many different surprises, outfit changes, on-stage feuds and some very very big announcements so I've decided to break it down into categories to make it a bit more easily digestible! For part one, we're talking Red Carpet Fashion.
We all know Miley Cyrus got the coveted role of being this year's host. And with her hosting duties and personal appearance and presentation we were all ready to see many many different sides of Miley - clothed or not! So Miley get's her own post. For a more detailed Miley recap, go to part two!
Now let's take a moment to see all of my hits and misses picks on this years red carpet.
1.Taylor Swift and the Squad
#SquadGoals. I seriously don't need to say more. Martha Hunt, Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez, Tay Tay, Serayah, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid and Karli Kloss. The ENTIRE squad slayed the red carpet this year and look like they're having the best time doing so! Work it girls!
2. Chrissy Teigan
Chrissy Teigan is undoubtably one of the hottest women in the world. Together with her husband John Legend....#couplegoals. She has a beaming personality and the girl loves to eat! Can she get any better. Busting out some major side-booob and owning it, Chrissy wore a Marchesa dress as seen her the 2015 Fall Gothic Creation line. Reportedly wearing no undergarments with this look, she definitely held herself together even when John won his first ever VMA award.
3. Demi Lovato
Just this week, the 23-year-old announced NEW MUSIC is on the way, set to be released October 16. The album title is called 'Confident', something that Demi finally feels about herself - and boy does it show. Demi owned the red carpet in a long-sleeved peach ensemble that was tight fitting in all the right places. I'm loving this new #CoolForTheSummer Demi and if that's anything to go by, the new album is going to be sick!
1.Blac Chyna & Amber Rose
I get the pair were trying to make a statement, but the outfit was a complete miss. If the goal was to point out every derogatory term that people call each other, then success, but for the VMA red carpet, it just didn't fit. The colourful pair also brought along their own mini squad. The female of their guests had no covering on the back side of her outfit, leaving it bare and open for all. Definitely a statement piece, but it left me and many others feeling very uncomfortable.
That's my favourite and not so favourite looks of the night. Check out part two to see all of Miley's many looks!
