The One Where We Welcome Caitlyn Jenner

As if this week hasn't been big enough for the Kardashian-Jenner family. Yesterday we announced Kim was pregnant with baby number two and overnight we the world has been introduced to Caitlyn Jenner. Formally known as Bruce Jenner the 1976 Decatholon Gold-Medal winner, (A.K.A the Kardashian clan's step-father) Caitlyn was introduced to the world with a Vanity Fair cover shoot.

In the recent weeks, Caitlyn gave a two-part tell all interview with journalist Dianne Sawyer telling of her transition into a woman saying it's been a life-long struggle of hers.

I kid you not, last night out-of-the-blue I had a dream about the whole situation and in my dream it was announced the chose name was Ana Jenner. It was such a shocking co-incidence to wake up to the extraordinary news.

There has been so much love and support for Jenner's transition from family, friends and fans. After the announcement, daughter Kendall tweeted; "Be free now pretty bird." Even the President Barack Obama got on board and tweeted "It takes courage to share your story."

A twitter account @Caitlyn_Jenner was also created at the time of the announcement with the trending hashtag, #CallMeCaitlyn. And if the support wasn't enough for Caitlyn already,  just like the 1974 Olympics, Caitlyn broke another world record with her account being the fastest account to reach 1 million followers - taking just four hours and three minutes. In true Kardashian-Jenner style, Caitlyn "broke" the internet!

Jenner who's undergone feminisation surgery including breast augmentation in the recent weeks is finally happy about herself.

This has been a really important learning lesson for the world these past week weeks. We need to learn to accept everyone for whoever they are and let them be true to themselves. That's one thing that we should NEVER take away from someone. Situations like Caitlyn's take the highest form of courage and we need to come together as a collective society and embrace this change. It's a serious situation that has hopefully given many the chance to take a step back and reflect on their thoughts and opinions to have a more open mind.

The 22-page Vanity Fair cover story is set to hit shelves on June 9th. But in the meantime, take a look at some of the stunning photos shot by Annie Leibovitz and a meme I couldn't help but throw in!
